Traditional Body Painting
Body Painting was very common at the beginning of the 12 middle of the 14th century religious practice rituals. This is an example of Gothic art. It was common in areas now refer to as France and Germany. Examples were murals on display, but primarily worn by members of the Church under the robes of the clergy. It has been a renaissance Body Painting in Western society since the 1960s, partly behind the liberalization of social habits nudity. Even today, there is an ongoing debate about the legitimacy of body painting as an art form . The current modern revival could be said that going back to 1933 World Exposition in Chicago where Max Factor and his model were arrested for causing a public disturbance when he bodypainted him with his new make-up design in Hollywood films.
Body art today evolves more work for personal mythologies, as Jana Sterbak, Rebecca Horn, Youri Messen-Jaschin or Javier Perez.
Body painting is not always large pieces of a fully nude body, but can involve smaller pieces on displayed areas of otherwise clothed bodies.
Body Painting led to a small alternative art movement in 1950 and 1960, which included a comprehensive model of paint and then having the model touch or roll on the canvas or other medium to transfer the paint. French artist Yves Klein is perhaps best known for this in his series of paintings “Anthropometries”. The effect produced by this technique creates an image-transfer medium model of the body. This includes all curves of the model body (typically female) being reflected in the outline of the image. This technique is not necessarily in conformity with effect, there are more colors in different body parts sometimes produced interesting effects.
Joanne GAIR is a leading body paint artist whose work appeared for the tenth consecutive year in 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. He broke with the visibility of the August 1992 Vanity Fair Demi’s birthday suit on the cover of Demi Moore. Her Disappearing Model was part of the highest rated episode Ripleys Believe it or not!.
Body painting is a commonly used method to get the attention of political protests, such as those against Burberry PETA.

Face painting is an artistic application of cosmetic “paint” is a person’s face. Tiger – This design, often consisting of body orange and yellow paint, black stripes painted on. The data are bushy eyebrows and nose, or whiskers, along with the black painted nose.
Clown – This design, often consisting of jacket with white paint. With the forms and functions, such as red nose and bright eyes are made to model aspects of a circus clown.
Spider-Man – This is a white body with red paint eyes and a black spider pattern in the models face. Similar to the mask worn by Spider-Man.
Dog – the Dalmatian generally, this model has a white big black eyes and cheeks. Black nose is added along with whisker pores. Language is added to give a general effect on the model panting, similar to a dog.
Butterfly – an organ consisting of a butterfly design is painted on the nose and wings added across the cheeks. Wing patterns vary.
Cat – Many of the models can be presented in this section. It could be a plain black tabby cat or a wild leopard. Either way, it usually consists of a neutral body painted with bushy eyebrows and nose.

Hand artists work closely with hand models. Hand models can be booked through specialist acting and modeling agencies usually advertising under “body temperature sum ‘, or’ hands and feet models”.
